Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivan Vincent announce his passing at Corner Brook Long Term, Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at 76 years. He passed peacefully, surrounded by lots of love. Ivan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 9 years, Linda (Bailey); Children: Caroline Vincent, Stanley Vincent (Pansy), Sharon Magwood (Wesley), Geoff Bailey (Gail), Sandy Cole (Gerry), Tammy Bailey (Randy), Cindy Bailey (Shawn). Brothers; Donald Vincent (Ann), Roland Vincent (Ann) and Russell Vincent (Lynn), and many very special grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Augustus and Veronica Vincent; Brothers: Arthur (Christina), Joseph, William (Eileen); Sisters, Laura Greene (William), Doris Jones (Kevin), Evelyn Carroll (Pat), baby sisters, Ruby and Ellen; and the mother of his children, Rita. A visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Monday, February 28th, 2022 at 10:30 AM from where a tribute to Ivan will be held at 1:15 with the funeral service will take place at 1:30 PM with Father Lee Lainey officiating. An interment service will follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, funeral expense donations are greatly appreciated. Monetary donations can be made through Linda Vincent.
A special thanks to the nurses at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on 3B & 3C; the special angels at the Palliative Care Unit, and all the doctors who took great care of Ivan.
