Passed away at Juravinski Hospital, on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Dorka (nee Karlovic) for over 63 years. Now reunited with his late daughter Mira Kotarscak (2018). Cherished grandfather of Tommy and his wife Katie of Smithville. Proud great-grandfather of Foster and Sadie. Fondly remembered by his friends and family in Canada and Croatia. Ivan retired from Dofasco after 25 years of dedicated service. Special thanks to the staff at Juravinski for the care he received. He will be dearly missed. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Prayers in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
