Isobel White
It is with great sadness that we announce our mother’s peaceful passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on May 1st, 2022, at the age of 101 years.
Predeceased by: her husband Mark (1982); children: Alfreda, Patsy, Brian, and Fred; parents Benjamin and Esther Bates; sisters: Mary, Margaret, Eileen, and Lillian; and brothers: Will, Michael, Leo, and Mark.
Lovingly remembered by: her children: Carol, Conrad (Josephine), Marty, Wendy (Bob), Esther (John), and Janet (Craig); 15 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, especially her second family at the Acadian Village Retirement Home.
We feel blessed to have had Mom in our lives for as long as we did. She enriched our lives with her love, warmth, interest, and concern for each and every one of us. She will live on in us through warm memories. We are saying goodbye to you today Mom but you will always be with us.
We would like to thank the staff of the Acadian Village for their exemplary care of Mom during her stay with them. Also thank you to the doctors and staff of the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for their warmth and care during her final days.
Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home on Friday, May 6th from 7:00-9:00 PM. Masks will be required to attend this visitation.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 10:00 AM from St. Stephen’s Parish. Interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted, or a donation may be made in Isobel’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
