Obituary of Isadore Joseph Masse
Masse, Isadore “Chuck” Jesus relieved Chuck of all his infirmities early Saturday Morning. Professor Emeritus in Economics. From a one room school house to a PhD, who taught at Brock for 33 years. Devoted husband and bestfriend to Kathleen. Fiercely proud father of Larry (Liz), Alice, Michael (Lori), Louise (Jim), Gerard (Shelby) and David (Karla). Loved and adored by 25 grandchildren and 8 1/3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Henri, his sisters Lucille Taylor and Rita Boileau, lovingly remembered by his sister Pauline Monks and many nieces and nephews. Chuck served in executive capacity for many church, university and community organizations. He was an avid gourmet cook, gardener and ALWAYS had candy.
The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines Wednesday June 8th from 3-7pm. Vigil Prayers at 3pm. Funeral Liturgy for Chuck will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9th at 11am at St. Julia’s Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Ave. Interment Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined, remember someone special in your life instead or a donation made in Chuck’s memory to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by his family.
