well as extended family members: nieces; great nieces; great great
nieces; nephews; great nephews; great great nephews and a large circle
of friends.
At the age of 19, while living in Edmonton, Isabel had an
accident that changed her life forever. She suffered brain
damage that left her with paralysis on the right side and made life
very difficult for her. She was ready to give up until she
married her Guardian Angel and best high school friend Derm.
Derm took on the role of caring for Isabel like no other could
do. Whatever needed to be done he did it no matter
what. He was her shadow and when she was in need he was
there for her. He never left her side when she was in the
hospital or in special care. He was the reason she wanted to
live and for this we are very grateful. We want to thank you for
giving us this time with Isabel.
Despite her struggles she was always pleasant. She
always had a smile and loved to joke. She never complained
and God know she had many reasons to. She will definitely be
missed by all those who knew her and were fortunate to be a part of
her life.
We would like to thank the Northern Lights Regional Health
Centre in Fort McMurray and the Willow Square Continuing Care Centre
for the care and compassion you showed Isabel & Derm during
her stay.
“Those we love don’t
go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen,
unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very
dear.”
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Isabel Leonard Caul 1962 2022..
