Obituary of Isaac Leaman Gale
Isaac Leaman Gale
March 24, 1927 – January 31, 2022
With heavy hearts we announce the death of our father Leaman who passed away peacefully in the early morning of January 31, 2022 at the age of 94.
He was predeceased by: his parents Robert and Isabelle Gale, his siblings Lester and Rose, and his son Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Irene, his children Charlie (Debbie), Lorraine (Dan) and daughter in law Kim. His (6) grandchildren: Sonya (Gord), Fabian (Jaime), Angie (Joel), Shawn, Ashley (Andrew) and Hilary. Also,
(8) great-grandchildren: Taylor, Mitchell, Terin, Ayden, Riley, Levi, Thomas and Austyn. He is also survived by his brother Gordon, sisters Joyce and Bette (Doug) and nieces and nephews.
Leaman was born in Robinsons, NL where he resided his whole life. He married Irene on July 7, 1948. They have celebrated 73 wonderful years together.
He proudly worked for the CNR for 41 years and was a well respected, hard worker. He spent much of his downtime farming and hunting. Dad built our family home, cabin and many other structures. He enjoyed woodworking and many people in the community may have a pair of his custom made snowshoes. He loved playing cards and singing jigs.
Leaman was a kind, loving man who treasured his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
We wish to sincerely thank the caring staff at Bay St. George Long Term Care, Stephenville Crossing and Crosswinds Seniors Retirement Home in Robinsons.
Sadly, no service will be held due to Covid restrictions.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Isaac
