Irene Cynthia (DaCunha) Adrian
1967-2022
Irene C. Adrian of Dumfries, New Brunswick and formerly of Ontario,
passed away following a brief illness at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital, Fredericton, NB on June 3, 2022. Irene was born on October
6, 1967 at Strathroy, Ontario, a daughter of the late Antonio and Rose
(Goncalves) DaCunha.
She is survived by her husband R. Timothy Adrian; a son Caleb; a
sister Maria Gubbels (Cleo) and their children Stephanie, Jennifer,
Nichole, Samantha and Cleo; her father-in-law Ross Adrian and a
brother-in-law Stephen Adrian.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family
gathering will be held later.
For those who wish to make a donation, the family has suggested the
Canadian Cancer Society.

  1. Tim, Caleb, and family. I am so sorry to hear of Irene’s passing. I worked with her at the YMCA childcare centre in Strathroy. I always remember her for having the biggest, kindest heart ever. That gentle, soft voice of hers was also a beautiful blessing that made her so special. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

  3. Although I only worked a short time with Irene these past 2 years she made such an impact on my life. She was such a sweet inviting person. She always had a smile on her face. She was a ray of sunshine. I am so sorry for your loss. She was so special.
