Irene Catherine Jones
March 14, 1924 – June 1, 2022
Passed away peacefully June 1, 2022 at Tudor Manor in Okotoks, Alberta at the age of 98 years.
Irene is survived by her loving daughter Lydia MacNeil, grandsons Rodney (Jennine) of Victoria, British Columbia, James (Jenny) of Chicago, Illinois, Edward (Stephanie) of Carstairs, Alberta, great grandchildren Aria, Paisley, Kash and Rhett, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Irene was predeceased by her loving husband Earl in 2005, her mother Margaret in 1981, father George in 1986, her son in law Joe MacNeil in 2020 and her sister Bessie Bourdages.
Irene was born March 14, 1924 in Saskatchewan. She moved to Turner Valley in 1949 and later moved to Tudor Manor on January 16, 2022.
As per Irenes wishes there will be no formal service. A cremation will take place and Irene will be laid to rest with her husband Earl in a private family gathering at a later date.
