Fredericton, NB – At the Horizon’s Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital of Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 passed away peacefully Mrs. Violet Cooney at the age of 71 years old.
Born at Stephenville, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Patrick Cooney and the late Florence Mildred Cooper.
Violet will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Marilyn Cooney of Moncton and Tanya Cooney of Edmonton; eight grandchildren, Justin, Matthieu, Shawn, Andrew, Celina, Damian, Joshua and Noah; as well as her uncle, Newman Cooper.
Besides her parents, Violet was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Cooper
In memory of Violet, the family will have a private gathering from Passage Funeral Chapel of Moncton at a later date.
In memory of Violet, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
