Dieppe – Victor “Vic” Bourque, 73, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, at the Albert House Hospice, Moncton.
Born in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of the late Albenie and the late Hermine (LeBlanc) Bourque.
He worked for 52 years as an electrician, a very kind and generous man, always ready to give a helping hand with a great sense of humour. Vic was a proud member of IBEW 1555, enjoyed playing cards (45, 200 and crib), doing crosswords and reading his horoscope. He loved watching sports, tennis, hockey, just to name a few.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cora (Belliveau); his daughters: Caroline LeBlanc (Marcel) and Joline Larade, both of Dieppe; his son, Michel (Nathalie Lirette-Bourque) of Dieppe; he was proud of his grandchildren: Olivier, Juliane, Isabelle, Nathalie, Nicolas, Mélissa and Josée; his sister, Corinne Devarennes (Gérald) of Dieppe; his brothers: Hubert (Jean-Ann) of Dieppe and Donald (Gloria) of Lakeside; his sister-in-law, Yolande Bourque (late Camille) of Shediac, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Camille (April 30th, 2022).
The family kindly ask that everyone attending the service wear a mask.
No visitation by request, funeral service will be held from Passage – Chartersville Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Monday, May 9th, 2022 at 11 am.
A donation can be made to the Albert House Hospice.
