Riverview, NB – Vicki Lynn Jewell Hannah, 50, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre of Moncton, on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Cliff Jewell and the late Patricia Jewell Nowlan.
Vicki will be dearly missed by her daughter, Jessica Jewell-Barr and her son-in-law, Thomas of Moncton; two sisters, Diane Belliveau (Paul) of Moncton and Gillian MacLeod (Eric) of England; her loving cat, Tinkerbell; three grand-fur children, Sir Slippers, Mr. Kitty, and Prince Panther, as well as her uncles Yvon and Louis (Denise) of Moncton, and several cousins. She will also be missed by her “chosen family” members including Melissa (and family), Heather, Owen, Geoff, and Dawne (and family); as well as her “Barr boys” Alistair, Alexander and Gordon Drummond.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, David Jewell, and grand parents, Adeline and Gerald Nowlan.
Vicki was a bright and bubbly person who always had a smile on her face. She battled many obstacles fiercely throughout her entire life and never let anything stand in the way of her positivity. Her family was the most important thing to her, and her daughter Jessica was the centre of her heart. When she wasn’t singing, colouring, doing Lego, or diamond paintings, she was most likely laughing with friends. Her memory will live on through the hearts of all those she touched in her few short years on this Earth.
Wearing a face mask will be strongly encouraged when entering the funeral home.
The family wishes to invite you to Vicki’s “No Black Allowed: The Brighter, The Better!” Celebration of Life visitation which will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB (506) 855-1145, on Thursday, June 30th, 2022, from 6pm to 8pm. In respect of Vicki’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service after the visitation.
In lieu of flowers (which the cats will just eat), donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Greater Moncton SPCA, or to a mental health association of your choice.
The family invites you to sign an online book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.
