Grand-Barachois – Roméo Leger, 75, passed away on Monday, October 31st, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and the late Salomé (Belliveau) Leger.
Prior to retirement, he was a carman at CN.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 52 years, Evelyne (Gaudet) Leger; his daughter, Joline Leger of Haute Aboujagane; his son, Denis Leger (Jackie) of Quispamsis; his grandchildren: Alex and Penny; his sisters: Cécile Landry (Alcide) of Shediac and Patricia Smith (François Falardeau) of Laval, QC; his brother, Mike Smith (Liette) of Montreal, QC, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters: Hélène and Alice.
A special thank-you to Sr. Martine, n.d.s.c., for the compassionate support given to the family during these difficult times.
In respect to Romeo’s wishes, no visitation and funeral service will be held.
