Moncton, NB – At Faubourg du Mascaret (Pavillon Richard) in Moncton, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, Mrs. Opal Loubert passed away peacefully at the age of 78.
Born in Eel River Crossing, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and the late Annie Diotte (Lapointe).
Opal loved spending precious time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending her winters in Florida, dancing, travelling, playing cards, and living life to the fullest.
Opal will be sadly missed by her children: James Loubert (Julie Ringuette) of Moncton, Lise Loubert Arseneau (Alain) of Dieppe, Diane Gallie (Garth) of Glencoe, and Suzanne Loubert of Dieppe; her grandchildren: Martine, Fannie, and Scott Lagacé, Jenna and Megan Gallie, Maya and Alexa Arseneau, Jonathan Loubert; her great-grandchildren: Emma and Lucas; her brother: Alexandre Diotte of Eel River Crossing; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her children’s father, Maurice Loubert; two brothers: Gérald and Alphonse Diotte and her sister Catherine Bujold.
A funeral mass will be held at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges RC Church (4, rue Centrale, Campbellton, NB), on Thursday, June 9th, 2022, at 11:00 am.
