Moncton, NB – Michael Robert Arsenault, 78, passed away peacefully at Moncton Hospital on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Clara Arsenault.
Michael was working for Apex Industries in Moncton for over 30 years. He was an avid fan of Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoyed watching them play on TV. He was also an animal lover, he liked playing poker, racing stock cars, and watching NASCAR. But above all he cherished his time spent with his family and friends.
Michael will be sadly missed by his common-law partner: Rita Bourque: his children: Kathy Crosthwaite (Kenny), Kenny LeBlanc (Ramona) and Chrissy Bourque all of Moncton; his grandchildren: Trish, Michelle, Nathalie and Tracy, Kyle, Derek and Tania, T.J., Hunter, Taylor and Cole; his sister-in-law: Gail Snelgrove (Bill) of Moncton; also by several great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his wife: Norma Arsenault (Fawcett).
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB (506) 855-1145, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 7pm to 9pm. There will be no visitation on Wednesday. Funeral Chapel will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
