Moncton, N-B.- Jeannette Gauvin, 84, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Moncton, N.-B., she was the daughter of the late Emile Joseph LeBlanc and the late Alma (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Jeannette worked at Eaton’s for 15 years. She had a home for 20 years in Largo, Florida. She loved traveling and had a special place in her heart especially for the Caribbean and Florida.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 63 years of marriage: Leo Gauvin of Moncton; her two sons: Michael (Margaret) of Barrie, ONT, and Robert “Bob” (Denise Brady) of Brampton, ONT; her six grandchildren: Kyle, Meghan, Michelle, Cameron, Owen and Jessica; her three great grandchildren: Sophia, Sage and Athena; her two sisters: sister Cecile Francoise LeBlanc and Bertha (late Ian) both of Moncton, as well as several nices and nephews.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by one son: Terry Peter Gauvin.
A gathering will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB E1A 1G1 – (506) 857-1901, on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 1 to 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Mental Health Society in memory of Jeannette.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of
Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative and Cremation Centre.
