Shediac River, NB – Joseph Fernand Richard, 79, passed away suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Éli and the late Rita Richard (LeBlanc).
Fernand is survived by his two sons: Maurice (Sue) of Halifax and Henri (Yvonne) of Moncton; his grandchildren: Josh, Hannah, Micah and Paul; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother: Gerry and his sister, Sylvia.
As per request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.

  1. Our most sincere condolences to Maurice and Henri. Raymond and nephews and nieces and the families. we were very saddened to hear of his passing. Our family have good memories of mon oncle Eli and ma tante Rita and their kids. They were often at our house playing guitar and having fun!! Fernand was a nice guy!!
