Saint-Antoine, NB. – Émile Léger of Saint-Antoine passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8th, 2022 at the age of 96.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Honoré and the late Marie-Jeanne Léger (Arsenault).
Émile will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Léota (Cormier) ; his two sons: Léo-Paul (Patricia) of Dieppe and Réginald (Elva) of Saint-Antoine; his daughter, Claudette (Roger) Dupuis of Saint-Antoine; his four grandchildren: Réjean, Gabriel, Gilles, and Rachelle; his six great-grandchildren: Jean-Sébastien, Sophie, Danie, Alek, Liam, and Novalie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his six brothers: Yvon, Aurèle, Léonide, Alban, Alcide, and Laurie; as well as his four sisters: Honorine, Emma, Sophie, and Stella.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Marthe Arsenault and to the staff of Foyer Saint-Antoine.
Visitation will take place at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 from 9:00am until time of service. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am in the chapel.
Donations in memory of Émile can be made to the Foyer Saint-Antoine.
