Dieppe, NB – Elizabeth Reade, 85, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.- Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022.
Born in Bayside, NB, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Reade and the late Nettie Reade (Allan).
Betty is survived by her daughter: Michelle Smith (common-law husband: John Hayman) of Alberta; her grandchildren: Jessica Catherine Smith and Marc Stephen Smith; her great grandchildren: Kayleigh, Ryleigh, Shawn, Brantley and Marc JR.; also survived by several nieces and nephews; Betty had a very dear friend: Gary Whitton. Betty was held dearly by the residence and staff at the Virgina Residence House in Dieppe.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: John Reade, Ephrem Reade, Helen and Mary Brown.
As per request, there will be no visitations. A celebration of life will be held at a later in the summer.
