Moncton – Cecile Mazerolle, 64, passed away, on Friday, June 24th, 2022, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Evelyn (LeBlanc) Cormier.
Prior to retirement, Cecile worked as a cook at the Dumont Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her “Seesters”. She also enjoyed camping and playing bingo.
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Mazerolle of Moncton; her son, Daniel Mazerolle (Megan Cormier) of Lakeville; her granddaughter, Mckenna; her sisters: Yvette Cormier and Joanne Cormier (Gary Knott), both of Moncton; her brother-in-law, Emery Gagnon of Irishtown; her niece, Christine (her daughter, Peyton); her nephews: Marc and Gilles (his children: Sam, Thomas and Malia); her aunts: Mae LeBlanc of St-Thomas-de-Kent and Esther Frenette of Val Cartier, QC; her granddog, Jack, as well as many cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Guy Mazerolle in 2019; her daughter, Lise; her sister, Denise and by her brother, Edgar.
Visitation will be held from Passage – Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday, June 30th, 2022 from 10 am to 10:50 am, followed by the service in the chapel at 11 am.
In Cecile’s memory, a donation can be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
