Moncton, NB – At the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, passed away peacefully Mrs. Catherine Léger at the age of 95 years old.
Born in Adamsville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Antonin Bernard and the late Denise Arsenault.
Catherine will be dearly missed by her children, Paul Léger of Dieppe, Claudette Richard (late Paul) of Dieppe and René Léger (Sandra) of Fredericton; one daughter-in-law, Suzanne Léger of Dieppe; her siblings, Anna Delhunty (Russell) of Moncton, Gérard Bernard (Linda) of Adamsville, André Bernard (Maria) of Moncton, Madeleine LeBlanc of Toronto; six grandchildren, Gary, Chris, Nicole, Luc, Mathieu and Nicholas; six great grandchildren, Jenna, Mikel, Chloé, Willie, Eris and Max; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Besides her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her loving husband, who is also the father of her beloved children, Willie Léger, her son, Donald Léger, as well as an infant sister,
Anne-Thérèse.
Visitations will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Home on Sunday, June 12th, 2022 from 7pm to 9pm. The Funeral service will follow the day after, Monday, June 13th, 2022, from Ste-Thérèse-de-L’Enfant-Jésus Roman Catholic Church of Dieppe at 11am.
In Catherine’s memory, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
