Grande-Digue, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernadette Léger, 72, she passed away suddenly at her residence, on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Armand and the late Éva-May Caissie.
Bernadette will be sadly missed by her children: Murielle Poirier (Robert Vautour) of Aldouane, Michel Léger and Claudette Léger (Reggie Cormier) both of Grande-Digue; her granddaughters: Courtney Poirier, Maiya Léger (Pierre-Olivier); her great granddaughter: Nova Rose Léger; her siblings: Annette Fagan (Alphé) of Lakeville, Jean-Claude (Gloria Bourque); Laurie (Raymonde) both of St-Gabriel; Lorette Boudreau (Ronald) of Grande-Digue, Blanche LeBlanc (Ronald) of St-Antoine, Hervé (Cécile) of Brampton, ON, Maurice (Suzanne), Sophie Caissie both of Grande-Digue, Rose-Mai Goguen (Jacques) of Notre-Dame and Huberte LeBlanc (Yvon) of Dieppe; her sister-in-law: Yvette Caissie; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Yvon Léger; some of her siblings: Armand, Lucie, Patricia, Jeannine, Paul, Justine and Joseph.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB (506.532.1050), on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 7pm to 9pm and on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 9am until 10:30am.
Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on November 19, 2022 at 11am.
In memory of Bernadette, a donation can be made to “Pépére Boîte à Lunch”.
