Saint-Louis-de-Kent, NB – Aurèle Léger, 88, passed away peacefully at Villa Maria in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, on April 4, 2022, after a brief illness.
Born in Richibouctou-Village, NB, he was the son of the late Clorice and the late Rose Léger (Boucher).
Aurèle will be sadly missed by his children: Rosario (Murielle) of Bouctouche and Monique Cormier (Robert) of Scoudouc; his granddaughter: Josianne Cormier; his brothers: Henri (Doris) of Richibouctou-Village and Gérald Léger (Rita) of Richibucto; his sisters-in-law: Edna of Saint-Antoine, Régina of Bouctouche and Laurianne of Richibucto-Village; also by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife: Dora Léger (Daigle); his brothers: Léon, Armand, Ola, Exibé (late Alphonsine), Joséphat and Léo-Paul (late Catherine); his sisters: Aline (baby), Geneva (late Oscar) and Éléonore (late Emile).
Visitation will be held in St-Antoine-de-Padoue RC church slumber room in Richibucto-Village, on Friday April 8, 2022 from 7pm to 9pm and on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:30am until time of funeral mass at 11am in the church. Wearing a mask would be appreciated.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society (NB) or to a charity of your choice.
