Riverview (formerly of Weldon), N.-B – Annie “Ann” Pearl McLatchy (Williams), 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Lakeview Manor in Riverview.
Born on October 3, 1945 in Sus NB, she was the daughter of Ernest and Dorcas Williams.
Ann was a homemaker who married her love Darrell, they raised their 5 children and helped care for many of her grandchildren. Throughout her life Ann was a wonderful baker and loved playing bingo, she enjoyed a game of cards or doing a jigsaw puzzle and that continued when she moved to Lakeview Manor. She also took great pleasure in telling her friend Jessica Morton (Jessie as Mom called her) how to do her job at the Manor.
Ann will be sadly missed by her husband: Darrell; her daughters: Patti Steeves (Rick) of Moncton, Rhondafaye Tremblay of Hillsborough; her sons: Dallas McLatchy (Catherine), Houston Mclatchy all of Hillsborough; her grandchildren: Tanya (Bert), Matthew, Kyla (Daniel), Andre (Rebecca), Dallas, Mike, Nicky, Jamie, Emily, Ryan, Hailee and Aaron and her great grandchildren: Brooklynn, Jacob, Darrell, Wyatt, Isabel, Ethan, Simeon, Marianna, Paul, Ayana, Jeremy and Lucas.
Ann was predeceased by her parents and her infant son: Darrell.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Residence Activities at Lakeview Manor.
Ann’s family would like to thank Lakeview Manor for the care and compassion shown to Ann during her final days.
In keeping with Ann’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. There will be a small family gathering at Darrell’s home, on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
