Dieppe, NB – Andréa Maillet, 94, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
To describe Andréa in a few words: she was generous, soft, always smiling and in a good mood, loved her family very much. She liked nature, flowers, to read books and she a was a big fan of Montreal Canadiens.
Born in St-Grégoire-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Philias and the late Emma Cormier (Girouard).
Andréa will be sadly missed by her husband: Alonzo Maillet; her daughters: Chantal Maillet of Dieppe and Sylvie Haines of New York, USA; her brother: Joseph (Florence) of St-Grégoire; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Dismas (Herminie), Gérald, Abbé, George and Albénie; her sisters: Rosa (Dan), Lilianne, Maria (Lionel), Lisa (Stanislas) and Corinne.
Visitation will be held at Passage, 3754 route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB (506.532.1050), on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 1pm until time of funeral chapel service at 3pm.
In memory of Andréa, a donation can be made to the Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation.
