Obituary of Ida Fleck
Ida Margaret Fleck was born on March 3, 1932, to Sebastian and Anne Walz. She passed away peacefully on July 29, 2022 at the Provost Health Center – Long Term Care at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold, in 2011.
Ida will be forever missed by her children, Karen (Wes) Snihur, Dale Fleck, Shelly Fleck, Colleen (Dean) Kelndorfer, Lana (Rick) Fix; grandchildren, Christine (Cam), Kyle (Michelle), Ashley, Ben, Kate, Zach (Amanda), Megan, Emily, Allie, Braydon, Mackenzie and Sydney; great-grandchildren, Jack, Cole, Addison, Isabelle and Finnleigh.
She will also be missed by her siblings, Dorothy Fleck, Victor Walz, Grace Gramlich, John (Marlene) Walz, and Clara (Walter) Reppert; sisters in law, Clemmy Walz, Betty Chotowitz, Adeline Fischer, Marge Fleck and Loretta Hummel; brother in law, Gabe (Angie) Fleck as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Peter, Mike, Robert, Gordon, and Dennis; sister, Rosemarie and sisters in law, Marie Walz and June Walz; brothers in law, Bill Gramlich, Peter Reichert, Gilbert Fleck, Wilfred Fleck, Joe Hummel and Adam Fischer.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Provost with Father Christopher Selvaraj Rayappan SAC officiating. Interment to follow at the Provost Cemetery.
We are ever grateful to Dr. Erasmus, the staff of Provost Long Term Care and the Hillcrest Lodge, thank you for the care and concern shown to Ida.
