Peacefully in his home of natural causes on May 22. Beloved father to John (Anna) Dearly loved “Pappy” to Eamon, Emma, Ashton and Beau. Former husband and lifelong friend to Mary. Brother to Bill (Mary Lee) and Elizabeth (Wayne). Loved by his extended family Cher, Omar, Aalyah, Stacey and Jena.
Ian was fiercely proud of his work at Stelco from 1941-2004 and his work family of which he spoke highly. Ian, or “Daryl” to the Stelco crew, was known for always doing things the right way and earned respect for it. We couldn’t be prouder of the Man he was or the legacy he left within us. We will miss you “Paps”
Anyone wanting to make donations in his name can make them to Community Care St Catharines.
Celebration of life will be held at The Manhattan Bar and Grill, 405 Vine St, St Catharines- Saturday June 4 from 1-4 pm.
