Ian passed away peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in the Renfrew Victoria Hospital at the age of 68. Loving husband to Jane Galbraith for 36 years. Beloved father of Lauren Scott (Lucas Regier) and Nathan Scott (Haley). Proud grandfather to Emma and Daphne Regier and Blake Scott. He will be missed by his siblings George Scott, David Scott (Cindy), Marilyn Kovacich (Brian Durocher), Sharon Laughlin (Bob) and Joanne Reasbeck (Doug). He will be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Stella Galbraith and brother-in-law Brian Galbraith (Shelley Graham). Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews, and best friend of 48 years Bob MacLaren (Nives).
Ian is predeceased by his parents Stewart and Frances (Kirkham), Step Father William Lockwood and his brother Robert “Bobby”.
Ian’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew where visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Renfrew Curling Rink on Saturday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm.
