1965-2022
Ian Eugene Huntley – 57, of
Aylesford, NS, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2022 with his
family close by.
Ian dedicated his life to being one of
Jehovah’s Witnesses and looked forward to his resurrection
in the new system. He was a loving man who made all his family and
friends feel special. Ian always had a story to tell and loved to make
people laugh. He made many close friends through his various fields of
work.
He loved to travel, whether it was by car,
truck or Harley – so much that he made his final career
choice driving truck for Eassons Transport and drove through most of
North America.
Ian is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter,
Phylicia (Ashley); son, Quinn; grandsons, Lincoln and Tavyn; father,
Verge; sisters, Leslie (Rick), Angela (Dwight), Bobbi (Doug), and
Melanie (Steve); nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ian was
predeceased by his mother, Shirley.
We would like to thank the Valley Hospice Staff
for keeping Ian comfortable and all his family and friends who made
him feel special, loved, and happy during his
stay.
Cremation has taken place. Brother Phillip
Spinney will be officiating the funeral service on Saturday, August
13, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s
Witnesses, 377 Highway 1, Kingston, NS. The service will also be
available to view live online via Zoom – Zoom ID:
9027651234; Password: 547698. Donations in memory may be made to
Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW.org). Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
