1922-2022
Ida “Marion” O’Brien of Hartland
passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Central Carleton Nursing
Home in Hartland. She was born September 12, 1922 and was the daughter
of the late Frank and Effie O’Brien. She was predeased by
her husband, Robert O’Brien; children Joyce McConnell,
Charles O’Brien ,Lillian O’Brien; and five
siblings.
Marion is survived by her children, Kenneth (Louise)
O’Brien of Halifax, Esther (Brent) Kaye of Hartland; 10
grandchildren, several great grandchildren; nieces and
nephews.
A funeral service will be held at later date with the
interment in the Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton. Once the date and times
have been finalized it will be posted to Marion’s web page
obituary. Arrangements are in the care of the Britton Funeral Home, 2
High Street, Hartland, NB. If so desired, donations can be made to the

  1. In memory of Marion O’Brien, a donation of money will be given to Emmanuel Baptist Bible Institute 187 McLaughlin Dr. Moncton with our sympathy to the Family-She was our Christian friend that we visited in her home many times Ken and June Crossman

  2. My deepest condolences to Mrs. O’Brien’s family and loved ones. She was a Christian example to me during my growing up years in Moncton. Her husband and children meant so much to our family as well. Praying for peace and comfort in the days ahead. Daphne (Fletcher) Jinnette.
