Brenda, we want to tell you how sorry we were to read of Rick’s passing in our local paper. He had a remarkable life and we were truly inspired by the way he didn’t let cancer define his last years. You were his perfect partner in sharing his adventures and supporting him through his illness. You will have many wonderful memories that we hope will give you comfort through this difficult time.

Just learned of Rick’s passing, and wish you to know we send our sincere Sympathy, to you, Brenda. We always enjoyed you and Rick at Square Dancing, and other incidental meetings in the community. He will be missed by a lot of people, including us.

I didn’t know Rick as well as I know Brenda but I saw how happy he made her and how he was there for her and the family thru so many trying times in her life. He truly was a special and unique gentle man. The memories and adventures they made and shared I pray bring Brenda some
comfort at this time.
We talked, the other night for 2 hours and she told me of his last few weeks, of his surprise birthday balloons, how he loved her and her family and how he passed, peacefully in his sleep in his recliner. What a beautiful way for him to leave this life and start his new journey.
Thank you Rick for loving Brenda and her Family. God has a special place by his side for the caring and beautiful soul that you were.

Brenda…..I was shocked to learn that Rick passed away.
He was a wonderful caring person and will be missed.
I knew Rick was fighting cancer as my Dave was fighting heart disease.
Now they are both in paradise.
