It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Huguette Gauthier (nee Marion) surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 26th, 2022 at Cornwall Hospice at the age of 82. Beloved wife for 61 years of Jean-Guy Gauthier. Loving mother of Daniel Gauthier (Dianne) of Cornwall, Pierre Gauthier (Lynne) of Ottawa and Sylvie Bowman (Fred) of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Matthieu Gauthier, Dominic Gauthier, Stéphanie Gauthier, the late Joël Gauthier, Michèle Gauthier, Joseph Bowman (Kresta), Nicholas Bowman and Eric Bowman (Carli) and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Richard Marion (Vivianne) of Cornwall, Diane Loiselle (Donald) of Casselman and Carole Duplessis (Serge) Laval, QC. Treasured God-mother of Brigitte Gasser, Matthieu Gauthier and the late Mario Loiselle. She is predeceased by her parents Conrad Marion and Simone Marion (nee Leduc). The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice Cornwall Carefor, Bayshore Healthcare, Carefor Health and Community Services and Dr. Leigh. As per Huguette’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 10: 30 a.m. at Boulerice Funeral Home, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Ste-Felix de Valois Church, Cornwall. If so desired, Memorial donation to Cornwall Hospice or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
