HUGH MARSHALL OBITUARY
It is with great sadness that the family of Hugh Marshall announce his passing on August 12th, 2022. Hugh died peacefully at home in Milton with his wife and high school sweetheart of over 50 years Jane Marshall (nee Langridge) by his side.
Born April 6th, 1954, Hugh lived a life on the farm, close to the farm and with a tractor never far away. His illness was short but long enough to say his goodbyes to his family and friends. Surrounded by those close to him would be what we would describe as his natural habitat.
Hugh will be lovingly remembered by his children Elizabeth Adamson (Keith) and Andrew (Rebecca); grandchildren Isla, Georgia, Alasdair, Charlie and Sam. He was predeceased by his eldest brother Dick and loving parents Kenneth and Billie (nee Dick). Hugh is survived by his in-laws Cissy (nee Hirons) and George Langridge. Dear brother of Win Foster (Ian), Jim (Mirella), Stephen (Michelle), David (Lucy), Wendy (nee Kendrick) Mark Langridge (Colleen) and Robert Langridge and a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Hugh was a tireless and selfless blood donor with over 100 contributions over his lifetime. In lieu of flowers the greatest memorial one could give Hugh is for those fit and able to roll up their sleeves and ease the blood shortage by contributing with Canadian Blood Services.
Details of a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
