Annand, Howard Taylor – 80, Bedford. We are so sad to announce the passing of a dear husband, father, father-in-law, on November 19, 2022 in the Veteran’s Memorial Building. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was the oldest son of the late Edgar and Roberta Annand. Howard was a kind, gentle man who lived very simply and was so easy going. He spent five years of his early life as a member of the RCAF and spent most of his working life as an owner-operator transport driver, driving the last few years for Conrad Brothers from where he retired in 2007. Howard was in his happy place when he could find someone to talk trucks, listen to fiddle music and his favourite place was Tim’s where he could spend hours with his friends. Howard will be forever missed by his wife, Karen (Jodrey); son, Michael (Kimberley); sister, Sharon (Victor); brother, Carl (Lynn); brothers-in-law, Jim (Brenda), Lowell (Barb), Rennie, Kevin (Leigh-Anne); sister-in-law, Judy (Don); many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, (Arlene); brother-in-law, Karl; brother, Keith; brothers-in-law, Vince and Lonnie; sister-in-law, Marianne. We would like to thank staff at Closing the Gap Home Care and V4E for their kindness, care and compassion.
A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2023; date to be announced.
