Obituary
Howard Lawson
Dec 12, 1932 – Feb 8, 2022
Howard was the son of the late Dave and Pearl Lawson and was raised on a farm in 4th line Tosorontio. Where he attended #8 Public School then Banting Memorial High School. He then later moved to into Everett to the house his dad built on the 5th (County Rd 13 now). He worked at Base Borden.
He loved having flowers in his yard especially roses and peony bushes, and feeding the birds. He got a kick out watching the hummingbirds, however the squirrels were not his friends, as they stole his seed. He always liked listening to country music and watching western movies and always enjoyed having a joke or two. He liked going to Potato Festival parades with Bonnie or Sharon. He was score keeper in early 20’s for Everett Ball team. He did enjoy the game as well. He would be out for walks in the evening visiting friends and family. He would walk everyday Monday to Friday down the street to get mail and stop for a visit at the Everett Store (Murray Joes) and stay a couple hours and chat with whoever came by. He was quite the man, always looking for news around the area. On Nov. 10, 2015, he went to hospital with a slight heart attack and other issues and was then place in Creemore Nursing Home where he has been up until he passed away. He will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Friday February 11th, 2022 from 10am until time of service in chapel at 11am. Burial will be held at Alliston Union Cemetery. .
