HORNE, Norma (Born Jacobs)
1941-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our cherished Norma Jacobs Horne at the age of 81 years at Anna Laberge Hospital on September 7, 2022.
She leaves to mourn her husband of 57 years, Donald Horne ; her children, Mike (Caroline), Mark (Marie), Stephanie (Johnny) and Donald.
Norma loved and had a special relationship with each of her grandchildren, Brent (Jaime), Tawnie, Brandon (Emily), Krista, Jonathan, Reece, Dawson, Kent, Craig and Kirk. She admired her great grandchildren, Ho’nigonhewa:nenh and Iokowisaientatie’s as they brought so much joy to her life.
Norma had one sibling, Edward Jacobs, with whom she shared fond childhood memories.
She also leaves to mourn many in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and cherished friends.
Norma valued family and loved to travel worldwide. She had a wanderlust for adventure.
Entrusted to Poissant and Deer funeral home
The family is receiving relatives and friends on Thursday 8, 2022 from 6 pm to 11 pm, Friday 9, 2022 from 9 am to 11 pm and Saturday 10, 2022 from 8 am, followed by the funeral service at 11 am at St-Francis-Xavier Mission church.
Burial at Kateri cemetery.
