Horatio (Jack)’s Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late John (Jack)Horatio Anderson announces his peaceful passing on April 30th, 2022 at the Doctor Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL. Born in Port Aux Basques, NL, Jack was the son of the late John and Emerline Anderson (nee Green) he was predeceased by his daughters; Virginia and Connie Anderson, infant grandson; Jonathan Janes, brother; Charles (Lorena) Anderson, sister; Jesse Buttery, brother and sisters-in-law; Pearce and Joyce Osmond, Walter Osmond, Earl Osmond, and Hilda Seymour, mother and father-in-law; Fred and Susie Osmond.
He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife of 63 years; Geraldine Anderson (nee Osmond), his children; Susan (Calvin) Tapp, Janice (Sandy) Janes, Corwin (Martha) Anderson, Vincent Anderson and Sherie Anderson, his grandchildren; Jeremy, Samantha (Travis), Jasmine, Nakita (Brandon), Magan, Shardi (Jeffrey), Leslie (Nova Lee), great-grandchildren; Jayden, Hailey, Alie, Jaxson, Leah, Jayla, Brianna and Breighan.
He also leaves to mourn his brother; Corwin (Nora) Anderson, brother and sisters-in-law; Carl (Donna) Osmond, Dorothy Osmond, Phil Seymour, Lavina Osmond and Fred Buttery, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jack touched the lives of all who knew him even those just in passing and will be deeply missed. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre for the kindness and compassion at this difficult time.
