Obituary of Holly K. Wright (nee Lamberton)
Of St. Thomas, formerly of Oakville, ON, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2022, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Donald H. “Don” Wright. Loved mother of Peter Skov (Terri) of Oakville, and Kristen Hirchak (Steve) of Shelburne, NS, and step-mother of Dawn Playfair (Brian) of Hamilton, and Darryn Wright (Dr. Jill Johnson) of Birmingham, England. Proud grandmother of Natalie, Colin, Elora, Joshua, Jacob, Julianna, and Jacqueline. Dear sister of Tim Lamberton (Terry) of Sarnia. Holly is also remembered by her in-laws, nieces, nephews, and their families.
Holly was born in Windsor, ON, December 26, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Junior Douglas Lamberton and the late Kathleen Ruth (DeFields) Lamberton. Holly and Don moved to St. Thomas from Oakville 8 years ago. They formerly attended St. Paul’s United Church, Oakville.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. By invitation, a celebration of life reception will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
