Obituary of Mrs. Hing Li Tran 李陳麗馨太夫人
It is with great sadness that the family of Hing Li Tran, born September 22, 1952, announce her passing at the age of 69. After several months of fighting to hold on for her family, Hing peacefully passed on June 1st, 2022. Hing was a loving mother to her two daughters Nancy and Anny. She was a devoted wife to husband of 37 years, Anh Boi Ly. She is deeply mourned by her relatives in Canada and abroad, especially her siblings Tu Le, Lynne, Paul, Jenny, and Christine. She was predeceased by her mother Bao Thuy Tran in 2020 and her father Giau Cam Tran in 2021.
Hing was a warm, soft-spoken woman who always put her family first. She will not be forgotten by those who felt her kindness and pure heart. Hing enjoyed all things food – cooking, learning new recipes and eating. She showed her love through always asking if you’ve eaten and sharing what she had with others. We are grateful for what she has shared and sacrificed. We will cherish all the memories we have with her, will miss her and love her forever.
As an alternative to flowers and in the memory of Hing, donations can be made to causes that were close to her: Diabetes Canada, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, or the Schizophrenia Society of Canada.
