Hillard Graydon HG Muttart 1944 2022

Muttart – It is with great
sadness that we announce the passing of Hillard Graydon
“H.G.” Muttart, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the Prince
County Hospital, Summerside, age 77 years. H.G. was the
oldest child born to Wendell and Ethel Jean (Linkletter)
Muttart.
He attended Kings College from 1963-1964 and Virginia
Commonwealth University from 1964-1969.
He was employed by Hudson Bay from 1969-1970, Thomasville
Furniture Industry Ltd from 1970-1980, Prince County Hospital as
Director of Materials Management from 1982-1985. He then began working
at Discover Card as a Senior Sales Manager from 1986-1996, when he
retired.
Two of the hobbies he enjoyed were stamp collecting and
listening to classical music.
In September 2002, H.G. moved back to Summerside and
re-connected with Kay Andrews. They were married on July 5,
2003.
H.G. was predeceased by his parents Wendell and Ethel Jean
Muttart; a brother Stewart Muttart; and by his mother-in-law Joyce
Andrews.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife Kay (Andrews) Muttart;
his son Robert (Chloe); step-sons Trevor (Lori) Andrews and Tim
(Morgan) Luddington; grandchildren Christian, Nathanial and Rose
Elizabeth Muttart; and his step-grandchildren Jacob Andrews; Mya and
John Luddington; his sister Pauline Miles; and by his
father-in-law Donald Andrews.
Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. The family will
cherish H.G.’s memory privately.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the
Canadian Cancer Society or the PEI Humane Society.
