It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hilda Mary Séguin (née Sauvé) on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Staff Sergeant Albert Séguin formerly of the Cornwall Police. Loving mother of Lise Wilson of Almonte, ON, Denise Sharp (Ron) of Kingston, ON and Christine Brunet (Pierre) of Cornwall, ON. Cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Hilda is predeceased by her parents; Ancel Sauvé and Olive Sauvé (née Quesnel), her brother; Rodolphe Sauvé and her sister; Elaine Andress. Visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St. Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 4th, 2022 at St. Peter’s Church at 10:30 a.m. Followed by cremation.
