Hilda Easter was 89 years old when she passed away unexpectedly at the Winchester and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Easter and cherished mother of David Easter, married to Donna Easter. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Krystle Easter-Puopolo and Brock Easter married to Laura Ireton and by her great grandchildren Cole and Bree Puopolo and Emmitt Easter. Hilda is survived by her twin sister, Helen Casselman and she will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mabel and Dalton Saddlemire and by her 7 brothers and sisters Pauline, Ruth, Edna, Mildred, Stuart, John and Foster.
Hilda was born in Williamsburg, Ontario and moved to Brockville where she was happily married to Peter Easter who passed in 1985. She lived and worked in Brockville and was a faithful member of the United church and the Legion. She was happiest when she was with her family and friends. Last year she moved “back home” to Williamsburg where she spent more time with her twin sister, Helen Casselman and family.

A Celebration of Life Reception for family and friends is planned for Spring 2022 at the Irvine Reception Centre, 4 James Street East in Brockville.
