Hersel Holland of Strawberry Plains, passed away Friday, January 7, 2021 at the age of 87. He served his country proudly in the Air Force, and was a member of Strawberry Plains United Methodist Church. He was a life long farmer, and retired from the USDA.
Preceded in death by his wife, Ozelle Holland; parents, Ross and Della Holland; brother, Charles Holland; and sister-in-law, Jean Holland.
Survived by son, Dr. Mark (Karen) Holland, brother, Vernon Holland; and sister-in-law, Helen Holland.
Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Monday, January 10 at Bridges Funeral Home, with his service to follow at 7:00pm officiated by Rev. Tom Ballard. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Strawberry Plains United Methodist Church or Gideons International.
