Herbert Vaughn Zedo 2022

Herbert’s Obituary
Peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital, Herb passed from this life on Saturday August 6, 2022. He was 82 years of age. Beloved husband for over 58 years to Henny Zedo (nee. Godschalk). Loving father of Wendy Zedo, Mark Zedo and the late Stephen Zedo (1990). Cherished grandfather of Dillon and Luke. Brother of Joanne Bickley (and the late Richard) and brother-in-law of Trudy Hazard (Bob). Herb will be dearly missed by his extended family, nieces and nephews, former colleagues at Stelco and many dear friends.
Herb will always be remembered as Mr. Fix-It, although the process was very meditative. The job eventually got done and done very well! Herb will be missed by the boys in the foursome at the Grand Valley Golf & Country Club.
Friends will be received at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Prayer and Vigil Service Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 17 Washington Street, Paris, on Wednesday August 10, 2022 at 11 a.m. Officiated by Father Joseph Okoko. In accordance with Herb’s request, cremation will follow the Funeral Service. In Herb’s memory, donations to the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church Building Fund (sacredheartbrant.ca/give-from-the-heart) would be appreciated by the family.
