Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, Herbert “Roy” Clarke, age 90 years.
Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Clarke (nee Percy); parents Augustus & Lavina Clarke; brothers Walter (Gladys), and Eric (Dorothy).
Leaving to mourn son Darrell (Olive) of Kitchener, ON; daughter Donna (Derek Sullivan) of St. John’s, NL; grandchildren Stephanie of Kitchener, ON, Lindsay of Toronto, ON, Parker and Casey of St. John’s; sibling Arnold (Joyce); numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Robert and Cynthia Fowler and neighbours George and Shirley Pardy for their care and support.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 12th at 11am. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Roy’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
