Henry H. Endres
1935-2022
Henry H. Endres – age 87, passed away March 2,
2022. Born in Mainz, Germany, he was the son of Franz and Elizabeth
(Hammer). Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister Josefine
Doetsch. Henry is survived by his wife Louise, sisters, Doris
and Krista in Germany, daughter, Tonia and son, Kyle and three
grandchildren. Henry Immigrated to Canada in
1956, he received a BA from Dalhousie University, in Halifax, NS. He
started working at Annapolis Valley Peat Moss in 1965 and purchased
the company in 1969. Business formations: Gulf Island
Peat Moss, PEI 1971, Pro Gro Products, North Carolina 1985, Grow Bark
Inc., South Carolina 1986, Miscouche Peat, PEI 1990, Northern Peat
Moss, PEI 1992 and Perfect Berries Ltd., NS 2001. He was a tireless
entrepreneur and loved his dog and
cats. Celebration of life will be held at a later date in the
spring. Donations may be made to 9 Lives Cat Rescue NS. Arrangements
have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
