Obituary of Henk Boers
Henk Boers
1938-2022
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. On Tuesday, August 16th at 5:50pm surrounded by his loving family Henk went home to glory. Henk leaves behind Anna, his loving wife of sixty four years. He was the proud father of Debbie (Herb), Patty (Bill), Michael (Inge), Peggy (Jason). Loving grandfather of Jessica, Jeffrey, Billy (Laura), Corey (Melody), Katelyn (Sam), Christianna, Stephanie, Vanessa, Mitchell, and Kyle. Loving great grandfather to Autumn, Izzy, Luke, William, Kaleb, Peyton and baby Jordan (soon to be.)
Henk was an employee of General Motors of Canada for 41 years. He started on the boys line and ended his career as a supervisor.
Dad’s greatest accomplishment in life was his family. He always said, “Look Mommy, what we started…”
He loved sitting outside admiring his garden and watching the birds.
The family will receive friends at the Vineland chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St., Vineland) on Monday, August 22nd from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Funeral service Tuesday, August 23rd at First Reformed Church (1136 Vansickle Rd N, St Catharines, ON) at 11:00am. Interment will take place prior to the service Tuesday morning at 9:30am. Please meet at the funeral home for 9:00am.
If desired donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at GNGH for the amazing care and compassion.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Henk
