Obituary of Helen Galange
GALANGE – Helen
Helen was reunited with her husband Joseph Galange on April 3, 2022 in her 96th year. She passed away peacefully at the Willett hospital Paris, Ontario. Loving wife of the late Joseph Galange, she is survived by her three sons, Dennis (Susanne), James (Joena) and Brian, her grandchildren Danielle, Patrick, Jim and Miranda and her great grandchildren Autumn Page and Taylor. Helen grew up in Edmonton where she met her husband, who was serving in the RCAF, during the second world war. They moved to Brantford in 1946 and made a life there. Helen was an avid gardener, excelled at canning fruits and vegetables, loved her needlework and was surrounded by dogs most of her life. The family would like to express their heartfelt thank to the staff at the Willett Hospital who provided her with compassionate care. In keeping with Helen’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at the Mount Hope cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road N, Brantford. Those wishing to honour Helen’s life can make a donation to the Willett Hospital by calling the Brant Healthcare Foundation at 519 751 5510.
