Obituary
It is with great sadness, that the family of Beatrice Johnson announces her passing on December 10, 2020, at the age of 96 years old.
Beatrice will be lovingly remembered by her children; Linda, Glenn (Karen), Ruth, Nathan, Calvin, Bunny, Bill (Shelly). Her 10 grandchildren; Lisa, Brenda (Gary), Patty (Tim), Karl (Rachelle), Richard, Jean-Paul, Nadine (Matt), Michael (Jacey), Kaitlynn (Stephan), Jessie (Shaun). Her 21 Great- grandchildren; Nick, Mallory, Jarret, Elyse, Taylor, Angelique, Kyle, Brody, Emma, Kassidy, Jessy, Jimmy, Mytia, Kyler, Austin, Reegan, Mason, Dakotah, Emersyn, Ayveri and Xander.
Beatrice will be missed and is survived by her brothers; Jimmy, Raymond and Gordon and sister Yvonne. Beatrice will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Beatrice is predeceased by her parents; Esther and David Oulette of Channing, MB. Her two sons, sisters; Bertha, Edith, Florence, Mary, brothers; Donald and Sonny. Son in laws; Armand and Larry and daughter in laws; Marcie and Donna.
Beatrice was born in Cumberland House, SK and raised in Flin Flon, MB. She lived half of her life in numerous northern Manitoba communities until she was 54, she then moved to Calgary, AB to live out the rest of her days.
Beatrice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her door was always open and everyone was always welcome. Her motto was “The more the merrier!” There was always lots of food and/or a pot of soup to enjoy. She loved to bake and she was famous for her bannock. It was the best! Everyone who met her loved her, Beatrice had a way of making everyone feel so loved and special and was always happy to see you. Beatrice loved going to Bingo, playing crib and she enjoyed crocheting and knitting, she shared her mitts, socks, doilies and rose bedspreads with loved ones. Beatrice’s family and friends were her whole heart and what she lived for.
