Obituary of Helen Dyck Nickel
December 29, 1926 – April 28, 2022
Helen was born on December 29, 1926 to Peter and Helena Dyck. She was married to Isaac Dyck and started their marriage in Burns Lake, B.C. and after eight years moved to Saskatchewan. She passed away peacefully at the Warman Care Home on Thursday April 28, 2022.
She is survived by ten children: Helen (Ken) Tiessen, Betty (John) Rempel, Anne, Tena (John) Penner, Mary (David) Skakun, Frank (Margaret) Peter, Susan (Jake) Wiebe, Jake, John (Shirley); sisters, Anna (Bert) Abel, Tena (David) Lawson; brothers, Isaac, John (Marlene); 33 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Isaac; grandson, James; son-in-law, John Braun; parents, Peter and Helen Dyck; brother, Abe; sister, Mary in infancy; brothers, Peter (Susie), Jake, Frank (Susie) and sister-in-law Evelyn.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Warman Mennonite Special Care Home for their compassionate care given to Mom.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Warman Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Warman, SK.
