Hegan: Helen Margaret (nee Larner) –
A resident of Chatham, Helen Hegan passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Chatham on January 26, 2022 at the age of 93.
Born in Fernie, British Columbia Helen was the daughter of the late Ralph and Edith Larner.
Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Hegan.
Dear mother of Greg Hegan and his wife Laura. Proud grandmother to Jason Hegan (Tori), Nicole Hegan (Dave), Jamie Haddy (Kailee), Krista Haddy ( Brandon-2021); great-grandmother to Austin Struthers (Megan), Cotter Hegan, Sarah Bahm, Emily Bahm, Corbin Chambers, Wyatt Wagner, Alanah Wagner, Dryden Varga and Hudson Maycock.
Predeceased by her sister Ann Manning. Helen will also be dearly missed by her niece and nephew.
Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 11 a.m. until the Funeral Service to celebrate Helen’s life at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
